Sexual Assault on Riverwalk Trail

A sexual assault that occurred over the weekend has been reported to SCSU's Public Safety. The assault occurred last Saturday at a location called the “rocks area” east of the Riverwalk and Beaver Trail between 1:30 and 2:00 AM. The victim is a female student and the suspect is unknown to the victim.
The suspect has been described as a white man, five foot eight inches or taller, with dark hair and eyes with no glasses. He was wearing light colored blue jeans and smelled like smoke. His voice was regular in tone and pitch.
The assault remains under investigation. Please contact Saint Cloud State University Public Safety at 320-308-3333 with any anonymous information. Advice given to students from the Gender Violence Resource program includes be aware of your personal safety and try to let your roommate or friends know where you are, be alert to your surroundings, and immediately report anything suspicious to Public Safety.
