Archived: St. Cloud Legacy Weekend

St. Cloud has been chosen as a Minnesota Legacy Destination with a wide variety of engaging arts, history and outdoor events taking place July 19th through the 22nd. The events focus on the importance of resources funded by the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment.

Thursday Events:

Sunset Stages at the College of St. Benedict with Kevin Kling. The event starts at 7:30 and is free. It will be located at the Darnall Outdoor Amphitheater at the College of St. Benedict.

• The Pioneer Place on Fifth Theatre will be performing Chicago. The event starts at 7:30 and is 19 dollars for adults and 16 dollars for students and seniors. The event will start on Thursday and last until Saturday.

• The Great River Regional Library will present “Flashback to 1968 Exhibition”. The event is free and starts at 10:00 a.m. and will last until Saturday.

Friday Events:

• “Broadway in The Park” presented by GREAT Theatre. On Friday and Saturday Broadway in The Park will be at the Stearns History Museum Plaza at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday Broadway in The Park will be at the Munsinger Gardens at 3 p.m.

Saturday Events:

• The Stearns History Museum is hosting a free day. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. check out all of the exhibits and walking trails.

• The Quarry Park and Nature Preserve is hosting their free day. Park hours are from 8 a.m. until sunset.

• The Paramount Theatre Visual Arts Center is having an open house. Stop on by for this free event located in the lower level of Downtown St. Cloud’s historic Paramount Theatre.

Sunday Events:

• The Pioneer Place on Fifth Theatre is having a St. Cloud Short Film Showcase. This event starts at 7 p.m. and is free for everyone.
