A St. Cloud man has been arrested after he allegedly assaulted his fiancée.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says officers were called to the 700 block of 9th Avenue North around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday evening.

Officers say 23-year-old Timothy Scott Sluss had hit his fiancée with a pool cue and threatened to stab her with a knife.

Police had taken Sluss to the St. Cloud Hospital for minor injuries before taking him to the Stearns County Jail.

The woman refused medical attention.

Sluss is facing charges of domestic assault, 2nd degree assault and domestic assault by strangulation.
