St. Cloud Man Arrested On Multiple Charges

A St. Cloud man is in jail on multiple charges after being found driving without headlights.
At about 4 a.m. on Sunday St. Cloud Police stopped a vehicle in the 900 block of Cooper Avenue South for driving without headlights. The Driver, 49-year-old Dewayne Smith of St. Cloud was found to be under the influence of alcohol and had a cancelled inimical to public safety driving status. Smith was placed under arrest for those offenses.
While investigating the incident, a separate theft was reported at the 2500 block of Division Street West in which Smith was determined to be the suspect. Smith received a citation for that theft.
