St. Cloud Man Facing First Degree Murder Charges

A St. Cloud man has been indicted by a Stearns County Grand Jury Thursday for Murder in the first and second degrees after stabbing his mother last month.
According to the Stearns County Attorney’s Office, 52-year-old Dean Allan Friese of St. Cloud is facing a life sentence in prison if convicted of murder in the first degree. St. Cloud Police found 72-year-old Lois Arlene Omeara lying on the floor of Friese’s apartment on September 14th, with stab wounds to her chest. An autopsy determined the cause of death to be multiple sharp force injuries.
Friese is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow (Thursday) at 10:15 a.m. before the Judge Frank Kundrat.
Friese is currently being held in the Stearns County Jail.
