St. Cloud Man Issued Citation After Crash

On Sunday night St. Cloud Police were called to the intersection of 2nd Street North and 12th Avenue North for an accident with possible injuries.
A police investigation revealed that a 27-year-old woman of St. Cloud was at a stop sign when she was rear ended by 23-year-old Sadiyo Sulub Anshur of St. Cloud Officers learned that Anshur was following too close and also hit the accelerator instead of the brake, causing non-life threatening injuries to the victim.
The woman was taken to the St. Cloud ER by Gold Cross Ambulance where she is being treated for injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.
Anshur was issued a citation for following too close.
