St. Cloud may tie a record Tuesday for most days spent at zero-degrees or colder, at 8 days, that was set back in February of 1899.
According to St. Cloud State University Meteorology Professor, Bob Weisman, Monday’s high temperature of -15 degrees tied the January 6th record cold high, set back in 1912.
Monday was the 35th time the high in St. Cloud was -15 degrees or colder dating back to 1886, when weather records were first kept in St. Cloud.
