Archived: St. Cloud Police Arrest Montevideo Man After Gun Complaint At Kelly Inn

St. Cloud Police were called to the south parking lot of the Kelly Inn in downtown St. Cloud early Sunday morning for a gun complaint, which lead to the arrest of a 22-year-old Montevideo man.

When the police arrived they met with the 22 and 29-year-old male victims and through investigation found probable cause to arrest Deven Elias Current on charges of making terroristic threats, 2nd degree assault, 5th degree controlled substance possession, and felon in possession of a handgun.

Officers also allegedly found 2.1 grams of methamphetamine, a loaded .40 caliber handgun, and $10,000 in cash in Current’s vehicle. Current is currently being held in Stearns County Jail for court.
