Victim of St. Cloud House Fire Identified

St. Cloud Police have identified the man who died in a tragic south side house fire that happened over the weekend.
According to the police, 23-year-old Kyle Kopischke was found dead in a house at 520 8th Avenue South at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday. He was a renter along with a 22-year-old who was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released.
Police say Kopischke's hometown is Comfrey.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's office plans to do an autopsy to determine the exact cause of Kopischke's death.
Fire Chief Bill Mund says the investigation revealed the fire started in the kitchen and is believed to be accidental. At the time of the blaze, Fire Chief Bill Mund says the fire had already consumed much of the home, and the flames were so intense that firefighters couldn't go inside.
