UPDATE: St. Cloud Police Investigating Deadly Attack

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) - Police have arrested a teenager in a fatal attack on a man in St. Cloud. Authorities say the 17-year-old male was taken into custody Monday in the death of Colton Gleason.
The 20-year-old Greenfield man died last Friday from head injuries. Investigators say he was walking with two female friends in an alleyway Thursday night when a car pulled up, one person got out and punched Gleason. He fell backward and hit his head.
Police say the assailant wasn't known to the victim.
Although Gleason was not a student at SCSU, students were notified of safety tips to keep in mind. Some of the key tips are do not travel in dark areas, do not text or use headphones while walking, lock your doors and windows and call the police if any anything seems suspicious.
