St. Cloud Police Respond To Motorcycle Accident

On Wednesday afternoon St. Cloud Police were called to Highway 15th and 8th Street North for an accident. Upon arrival, officers learned that 73-year-old Arthur Bernard Scherping of Winsted had rear ended a motorcycle while driving southbound on Highway 15.
The motorcyclist was a 31-year-old resident of Richmond who was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance for non-life threatening injuries.
Scherping was cited for following too close.
