The St. Cloud Police Department will be hosting a public information and education session on how to prevent burglaries.

St. Cloud Police Lieutenant Jeff Oxton says the session, called Burglarproofing Your Home or Apartment, will include inexpensive actions people can take to prevent their homes or apartments from being burglarized.

The session is part of a series of free public information meetings the St. Cloud Police are offering to residents in order to help them learn about crime prevention.

The burglarproofing event will take place on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the St. Cloud Police Department’s Public Training Room.
