Archived: St. Cloud State To Extend Firm Searching Process For Two Administration Postions

St. Cloud State University will extend the search for the positions of Dean of the Herberger Business School and Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

The University went through an RFP process to find a firm to help with finding candidates for both positions by July. SCSU President Earl H. Potter III says after reviewing the search firm proposals and listening to feedback from campus colleagues, more time is needed to find a firm that fits the desired search process.

President Potter adds that the University will move forward in finding a search firm for both searches, but with the intent of making appointments by January.

Both positions opened up this January when Diana Lawson, current Dean of the Herberger Business School accepted the position as Dean of the Seidman College of Business at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan and Miguel Martinez-Saenz, current Dean of University College and Associate Provost for Student Success, accepted the position as the new Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs of Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio for the next Fall academic term.
