The Vice President for Finance and Administration at St. Cloud State University is resigning her position at the end of the school year.
Interim President Ashish Vaidya shared the news of Tammy McGee's resignation with a campus-wide email Tuesday morning. She has served in this role since November of 2013.
McGee oversees the university's $210 million budget and other operations at the institution. The president says she provided leadership in SCSU's efforts to re-establish the financial stability of the university in times of lower enrollments and cost increases.
Vaidya credits McGee in her role in the new banded tuition model and campus safety initiatives such as the partnership with the St. Cloud Police Department under the Campus Area Police Services or CAPS program and the Community Outpost in the Southside neighborhood.
McGee's resignation will be effective June 30. A search for a new vice president will begin immediately.
