St. Cloud State has unveiled the new secondary athletics logo today at the Famous Dave’s Huskies Sportstacular fundraiser.

The announcement ends an in-depth process that started in December. Joe Bosack and David Haney of Joe Bosack & Co., came to campus and gathered input from groups including SCSU students, faculty and staff. A survey was released that provided two choices of potential secondary logos.

SCSU Athletic Media Relations says the new look of the Husky will maintain a visual connection to the global/institutional "St. C" ligature. It replaces the Husky head logo that has existed since the 1999-2000 school year.

The new uniforms will have St. Cloud State or Huskies in a custom font created specifically for the athletic department and will be phased in as part of the uniform replacement process.
