St. Cloud VA's Clothesline Project Honors Those Affected By Sexual Trauma
04/22/2014 - 12:30 PM
In observance of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the St. Cloud Veterans Administration Health Care System will be hosting a clothesline project.
The Clothesline Project is designed to bring awareness to military members affected by military sexual trauma, sexual assault, and sexual abuse.
Those affected by abuse are given the opportunity to express their feelings by decorating a tee-shirt. The artwork will then be displayed on a clothesline to serve as testimony to military sexual trauma.
The St. Cloud V-A will display the clothesline from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in their auditorium at their medical center campus. The event will last until Thursday.
