A woman has suffered minor injuries after her vehicle was rear ended by another vehicle Thursday afternoon at the intersection of 8th Street North and 33rd Avenue North.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says, a 22-year-old woman of St. Cloud was turning north onto 33rd Avenue North, when 22-year-old Timothy James Griffiths of St. Stephen, rear ended her vehicle.

Griffiths admitted to looking at his phone prior to the crash. He was cited for inattentive driving, no proof of insurance, and other license violations.

The woman suffered minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.
