Minnesotans have 47 new reasons to attend this year’s Great Minnesota Get Together.
The Minnesota State Fair has announced this year’s new food lineup. As in the past, vendors will be serving some unique combinations of foods.
A few of the new items premiering are:
Chocolate Chili Ice Cream, at R&R Ice Cream.
Comet Corn, which is a “futuristic” caramel corn made with liquid nitrogen that leaves a trail of comet dust when exhaled from the nose and mouth. Comet Corn can be found at the Blue Moon Dine-In Theater, on the corner of Chambers Street and Carnes Avenue.
The Ball Park Café will introduce their new Craft Beer Battered Onion Rings which are thick cut onions dipped in Indeed Daytripper, a local craft beer. The rings are then battered, deep fried and served with spicy beer mustard.
Inside the Food Building on the east wall, you will find Lobster Mac n cheese at Oodles of Noodles.
All these foods and more will be available when the State Fair opens August 22nd to September 2nd.
