Archived: Stearns History Museum Presents New Children’s Exhibit On Health And Wellness This Summer

A nationally touring exhibit is making its way to the Stearns History Museum to spread messages of health and wellness to children.

The museum says the Healthyville exhibit is designed to teach children about health in a fun, play-based manner. It will help participants understand their bodies, the importance of making healthy choices and how to apply these concepts in everyday situations.

The program is bilingual in English and Spanish, and open to families with kids ages 5-12. Others are welcome if interested.

The tour was created by Stepping Stones Museum for Children.

Healthyville kicked off Friday and will run through September 4.

The exhibit times are as follows:
Monday, Wednesday-Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Tuesday 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
Sunday noon-5 p.m.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $3 for children, and free for museum members and children less than one year. Family rates are also available.
