Archived: Task Force Arrested Two After Alleged Cocaine Sale

The Central Minnesota Violent Offenders Task Force arrested two men Wednesday evening after conducting a controlled purchase of about two ounces of cocaine. The task force arrested 21-year-old Bo Raymond McManus of Ham Lake and 25-year-old Travis John Gester of Ramsey.

The arrest happened after the controlled purchase in the parking lot of McStop at 4311 Clearwater Road. Officers moved in and arrested McManus and through investigation determined that Gester was also involved in the transaction. The task force reported recovering cocaine and money from the scene.

Both suspects are being held in the Stearns County Jail. McManus was arrested on first degree charges of sale of a controlled substance. Gester was arrested on first degree charges of aiding and abetting the sale of a controlled substance.
