Task Force Issues 25 Citations

Law Enforcement officials issued 25 citations last Friday night when they saturated a 10 mile stretch of road in Stearns County. The Central Minnesota Reduction of Accidents for Safe Highways Task Force, or C.R.A.S.H, patrolled Division Street and County Road 75 from the Mississippi River in St. Cloud to I-94 in St. Joseph. The goal is to of reduce serious injury and fatality crashes. Among the 25 citations issued Friday night were five speeding tickets, a DWI, an open bottle citation, and one minor. The CRASH task force is made up of officers from law enforcement agencies all over Central Minnesota.
