A teenager is facing charges of terroristic threats after he was witnessed displaying a small handgun out of his vehicle at the intersection of 33rd Avenue North and 8th Street North.

St. Cloud police Sergeant Jason Burke says, 19-year-old Theotis Ishmael Newell was taken into custody Thursday afternoon at the 1400 block of Northway Drive when officers recovered a replica airsoft handgun that was used during the incident.

No injuries were reported to police.
