A teenager was injured after his snowmobile collided with another snowmobile.

On Saturday afternoon, the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, Albany Fire and Melrose Ambulance were called to 35632 County Road 10 in Albany Township for the crash.

According to the report, 15-year-old Adam Vowles of Albany and another man were riding in the area of North Lake when the other man stopped to wait for Vowles. Vowles was unable to stop and slid into the rear of the other snowmobile, catching his leg between them.

Both men returned to the address in Albany Township and called 911.  Neither snowmobiles sustained damage.

The crash is under investigation.
