Archived: Three Arrested For Possession Of Controlled Substance Friday Morning

Three people are facing charges of controlled substance possession after being arrested at a St. Cloud home Friday morning.

According to investigators, the St. Cloud Police SWAT team and the Central Minnesota Violent Offender’s Task Force completed a search warrant at 62 12th Avenue NE around 5:00 a.m. Friday morning after receiving various calls of weapons complaints, shots fired, threats and information regarding drug use and sales occurring outside the location.

Upon arrival, the SWAT team and Task Force discovered 10 people who were at the home, including the owner, 52-year-old David Roll. A small amount of methamphetamine, an undisclosed amount of crack cocaine, syringes with methamphetamine, prescription pills, and 10-gauge sawed off shotgun were all found during the search.

Among the 10 suspects, three were booked and later released from the Benton County Jail. 45-year-old Bruce Edward Canady and 27-year-old Macenzie Olson, are both facing charges of 5th degree controlled substance possession and 27-year-old Joseph Bernhardt is facing charges for an outstanding warrant for felony controlled substance. All others in the house were released at the scene.

Additional charges may be approaching upon further investigation.
