Somali Night at St. Cloud State University is spreading a message of unity.

A celebration of culture, music, dancing and traditional Somali food will take place this week hosted by the Somali Student Association.

The association president, Mohamed Warsame, says, “Our message is to help educate our audience about the different sectors of Somali culture and inspire the youth.”

People who go to Somali Night will be greeted with dinner at 5 p.m. and can enjoy a performance at 6:30 p.m.

The event takes place Friday on the SCSU campus. Tickets will be sold at the door.
