Two Injured, One Ticketed in Car Crash

Two women are injured after a car crash Wednesday night on St. Cloud’s east side. It happened just after 8:00 pm at 15th Avenue and Minnesota Boulevard. Police say 37-year-old Joanne Steffes of St. Cloud was driving south on 15th with five passengers in her car. That’s when, police say, they were hit by another car, driven by 52-year-old Shelley Thomas of St. Joseph. Steffes and one of her passengers were brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Thomas was ticketed for failing to yield.
