Two Boys Charged in Skateboard Assault

Two underage boys have been charged with third degree assault and curfew violations after a man was assaulted while skateboarding early Wednesday morning. Another boy has been charged with a curfew violation. St. Cloud police say the assault took place in the area of Cooper Avenue and Highway 23 around 4 a.m. on August 1.
A 23-year-old St. Cloud man reported being assaulted while riding his skateboard in the area. He was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital for substantial but non-life threatening injuries.
The police released the boys to their parents.
