UPDATE: Autopsy Results Find Gunshot Wound Caused The Death Of Missing Foley Man

Midwest Medical Examiners have determined from preliminary autopsy results that 31-year-old Jamie Wylie of Foley, who had been missing since December 9, was the victim of a homicide.

Benton County Sheriff Brad Bennett says final autopsy results confirmed that the Foley native died of a gunshot wound.

Wylie’s body was found on Tuesday, March 25 just before 2:30 p.m. along County Road 75 between Mayhew Lake Road and East Saint Germain Street.

The investigation into Wylie’s death is ongoing.

Anyone with information on the case or suspicious activity in the area of Benton County Road 75 is asked to contact the Benton’s County Sheriff’s Office at 320-968-7201.
