A District-742 school bus and a pedestrian were involved in a collision just after 7:00 a.m. Thursday morning in St. Cloud.

St. Cloud Police responded to the scene of the accident at the intersection of County Road 75 and a frontage road next to 600-block of Cooper Avenue.

The preliminary police investigation indicates the bus was traveling westbound on Roosevelt Road while 20-year-old Andrew James Boedigheimer was walking eastbound on Roosevelt Road when the accident happened.

Boedigheimer was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital Emergency Room and his currently in critical condition with substantial injuries.

The District-742 school bus did not have kids on board at the time of the collision.

The investigation is still open and St. Cloud Police are being assisted by the Minnesota State Patrol.
