A car fell through the ice on Pearl Lake on Sunday afternoon. 

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says that 61-year-old Kenneth Stofflet, of Sartell, was driving his 2000 Oldsmobile and pulling a small trailer. He tried to leave the lake via the public access when the passenger side of his vehicle fell through the ice at about 5 p.m.

The passenger side came to rest in about 3-4 feet of water. Stofflet was able to make it out of the car unharmed. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor. 

Pearl Lake is located between the Rockville and Kimball area.
