Central Minnesota drivers will find an easier commute to Sauk Rapids now that the temporary ramp off westbound Highway 10 is now open.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the ramp from Highway 10 to County Road 29 has been closed since May 1st so crews could resurface parts of the road at the base of the ramp. The road repairs are part of a major project to reconstruct the highway in Sauk Rapids and St. Cloud.

MnDOT encourages motorists to plan for extra travel time or seek alternate routes during the upcoming Minnesota Fishing Opener.
