White Powdery Substance Sent To Seventh District Court

White powdery substance makes its way into the Courts Facility Building Tuesday morning.

Stearns County Sheriff Don Gudmundson says that a staff person for the Seventh District Judicial Staff found a white substance while opening the daily mail around 10: 45 a.m. After finding the substance she reported it to the court house deputy.

The sheriff’s office had the United States Postal Inspection Service test the substance. The inspection services said that the sample contained no biologic or toxic substances and they believe that it is corn starch.

Potential violations could deal with real and simulated weapons of mass destruction.
