Archived: Winter Storm Moves Into Central Minnesota

Winter weather is finally here after weeks of unusually high temperatures.

St Cloud State University Meteorology professor Bob Weisman says our first major winter storm will be making its way into central Minnesota Monday afternoon. The storm will start off as rain but will turn into snow as temperatures drop creating icy roads. St. Cloud is supposed to get 1-2 inches of snow starting in the late afternoon and continuing into the evening.

If you plan on traveling this evening be prepared for low to no visibility with icy patches on the roads.
