Baseball Sits Alone in 1st

It was a 21-2 beating of Northern State that allowed the Saint Cloud State baseball team to remain in sole possession of first place. The Huskies swept all four games against Northern State and hold a one game lead of first over Winona and Minnesota State in the NSIC.
Saint Cloud improved to 21-5 in conference action with a 34-9 overall mark. The Huskies currently hold a six game lead over Augustana, who is currently the last team out of the playoff picture. With six games remaining in the regular season, Saint Cloud is just one win away from clinching a playoff berth.
