The Husky baseball team continues to impress early on this season. The Huskies played a doubleheader last night (Monday) at the Metrodome against Kansas Wesleyan University to wrap up the nonconference portion of the season. SCSU ran away with a 5-0 victory in game one and a 4-2 win in the second game. The first victory of the day was head coach Pat Dolan’s 200th victory with the team since his start in 2008. Pitcher, Scott Lieser got his fourth win of the season in the shutout victory and the Huskies notched 11 hits in the game.

In the second game the Huskies trailed two to nothing in the sixth inning before the offense got moving to catapult the Huskies with a 4-3 comeback victory. The Huskies are now 11-2 overall and will start NSIC play this weekend.

**UPDATE** The games will no longer be played in Sioux Falls, SD. The games with the Cougars will now be played Friday and Saturday at the Metrodome.

SCSU is ranked 10th in the NCAA DII Baseball Poll released this week.
