The SCSU Football team had perhaps their most memorable win in team history on Saturday night at Husky Stadium. The Huskies defeated #2 Minnesota-Duluth 51-49 on a last-second touchdown pass from Phillip Klaphake running back Michael Walker.
Klaphake was named NSIC Offensive Player of the Week Monday morning for his school-record setting 466 yards and five touchdown passes. The junior from Princeton also rushed for a touchdown in the upset victory.
The Huskies are now three-and-two overall and one-and-0 in the NSIC North with a road game scheduled at Crookston Saturday afternoon.
