Former Husky Novak Signs ATO with Hamilton in AHL

Last week Travis Novak skated for St. Cloud State for the final time in the team's loss to North Dakota. This week, he's on to a new challenge, lacing up the skates for the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL. Novak was signed to an Amateur Tryout this past week and has been added to the team's roster.
Novak spent four years at SCSU and registered 71 points for SCSU. The speedy forward played both wing and center for SCSU this past year, and had a career season scoring 12 goals and adding 13 assists.
A native of Lethbridge, Alberta, Novak was pointless in his first game with Hamilton this past week. He is wearing number 27 for the Bulldogs, who are the top affilate of the Montreal Canadians.
