Gaudet Signs With Alaska of ECHL

Former St. Cloud State defenseman Craig Gaudet has joined the professional ranks signing a contract with the Alaska Aces of the ECHL. After only playing 15 games in his first three seasons at SCSU, the Saskatchewan native broke out his senior year scoring three goals and adding seven assists in 38 games.
Gaudet becomes the third member of last year’s team to sign professionally after graduating from St. Cloud, but is the first to do so in North America. Ryan Lasch and Garrett Raboin signed in Sweden and Finland respectively, but Gaudet will try his hand playing AA minor league hockey.
