Golfers Finish 2nd, West Wins NSIC Title

SCSU Sophomore golfer Charlie West of Victoria, MN won medalist honors at the 2012 NSIC Men's Golf Championship held in Lake City Saturday and Sunday. The Huskies placed second as a team finishing three strokes behind NSIC champion Minnesota State-Mankato. It is the third season in a row the Huskies have finished in second place.
West won medalist honors after a three-hole playoff with Jon Anderson of Upper Iowa. West finished with a score of three over par to take home the title. Junior Gordy Diekman of Alexandria, MN finished in 8th place for SCSU.
