Huskies Volleyball Swept On Road

The St. Cloud State volleyball team fell in straight sets to #4 Concordia and Minnesota State-Mankato last weekend extending their losing streak to 6 matches in a row. The Huskies are now 8-14 on the year (4-10 NSIC).
Arguably the biggest reason for the losses was hitting percentage. The Huskies hit -.009 against the Golden Bears and just .117 against the Mavericks. They hit .200 or better in just one set over the course of the weekend. #4 Concordia hit .219 on Friday, Mankato hit .292 on Saturday.
The Huskies return to Halenbeck Hall to take on two mid-conference opponents this weekend. Upper Iowa will come to town on Friday; they are 9th in the conference standings with a 7-7 NSIC record. Winona State is tied for 7th in the conference with Mankato at 8-6.
