In the opening game of the tournament the Huskies fell to the Beavers of Bemidji State 9-3. The NSIC tournament is a double-elimination style so the Huskies will play again to determine their fate.
The Huskies are to play Concordia-St. Paul Wednesday evening, due to rain the game has been postponed to Thursday. The game will be played at Joe Faber field. On and off rain continues to fall in the area altering the start time for the game. As of 12:30 p.m. the first pitch is slated for 3:00 p.m. Due to conflicts with SCSU finals week KVSC will no longer be able to provide coverage of the afternoon game on the Sports Stream.
Next up: The Huskies won the game against Concordia St. Paul 2-0 to continue play in the tournament. The Huskies will now play MSU or Wayne State, whoever losses in the Thursday night game. The next game for SCSU will take play on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. Listen to the action on KVSC 88.1 FM or online.
