Huskies lose season finale

The Concordia-Saint Paul Golden Bears strolled into Halenbeck Hall on Saturday and put an end to the Saint Cloud State volleyball season with authority, sweeping the Huskies in three sets. SCSU got four kills apiece in the match from Kayla Tschida, Erika Beacom and Alecia Lunde but the offense could never get on a roll as Concordia’s defense was solid all match long. The Golden Bears, who finished the regular season undefeated, tallied 15 total blocks and 55 digs defensively to show why they are the top team in the country.
The Huskies finished the season with an overall record of 7-25, which included a 3-17 conference record.
