Huskies Spilt Again

The St. Cloud State baseball team played an evenly matched series with Augustana this weekend at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud. The two teams spilt the four game match-up that saw each club put up 28 runs a piece and each contest was decided by three runs or less.

Jamie Kissel and Logan Birr got the wins for the Huskies this weekend with Joey Benke and Jordan Smith combining for 9 RBI's. St. Cloud finds itself in a tie for fourth place in the NSIC conference with just three series remaining. The Huskies conference record of 15-5 puts them four games ahead of Augustana, who is currently the last team sitting on the outside of the playoff bubble.

Up next for St. Cloud is a match-up with Wayne State on Wednesday in Wayne, Neb.
