Saint Cloud continued to roll this last weekend with two more victories and a sweep of Michigan Tech. The Saint Cloud Huskies pushed their winning streak to four games and although the team didn't look great at times, they still managed to get two more wins over the last place team in the conference.
Criag Gaudet and Tony Mosey notched three points each on Friday and two goals by Garrett Raboin on Saturday lifted the Huskies on the weekend. The team also added 5 powerplay goals on the weekend which elevated their PP mark to over 20%.
Dan Dunn got the start and win on Friday which was his third in a row and Mike Lee got the nod on Saturday which was his first action since returning with a gold medal from the World Juniors Tournament with team USA.
St.Cloud is currently ranked at 14th in the national polls and will travel to #17 Quinnipiac this weekend in non-conference action. The Huskies return home on the 22th to play a home and home with the University of Minnesota. Listen to KVSC for coverage of both games against the Gophers.
