Husky Men's Basketball Eyes 2nd Seed In North Division; Face Minot State and UMary This Weekend

The St. Cloud State men’s basketball team comes into the final weekend of regular season play with a 12-8 record in conference (won 5 of last 6 games). They are currently 3rd in the NSIC North Division standings trailing 2nd seeded Northern State University by just one game.
This weekend the Huskies match up with Minot State University (9-11 NSIC) Friday at 8pm and the University of Mary (6-14 NSIC) on Saturday at 6pm.
Minot State University is led in scoring by Everett Robinson (13.2) and Thomas Korf (12.2). As a team they average 74.6 ppg and allow 75.3 ppg. They shoot .467 from the field and .390 from beyond the arc.
The University of Mary is led in scoring by Marquealis Edwards at 12.5 ppg. As a team the Marauders average 71.2 ppg and allow 75.3 ppg to opponents. They shoot .464 from the field and .362 from downtown.
St. Cloud State is led in scoring by Jordan Poydras who broke the 1,000 point threshold earlier in the year. Poydras averages 19.2 ppg on .417 shooting from the field this season. As a team the Huskies put up 81.2 ppg and allow 74.1 ppg. The Huskies currently have the NSIC best perimeter shooting defense only allowing opponents to convert .332 of their shots from outside.
