The Saint Cloud State Men's Basketball team held on to sole possession of second place in the NSIC with their fifth win in a row this last weekend. After a victory over Minnesota-Duluth on Friday the team charted their highest point total since December 20th, 2008 with a 107-71 win against Bemidji State.
Taylor Witt had 23 points on Friday and five different players were in double figures on Saturday to improve the Huskies conference mark to 12-3, with an 18-4 record overall.
The Huskies are back home this weekend hosting Southwest Minnesota and Minnesota State-Mankato. The Huskies are currently two games back from first place and the game on Saturday against the conference leading Mavericks could cut their lead to just one game.
