Men's Hockey Completes Sweep of UAH

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team earned a sweep over the University of Alabama-Huntsville with a 4-0 win at the National Hockey and Event Center. Husky goaltender Ryan Faragher made 18 saves to earn his second career shutout.

Nic Dowd scored the game's first goal for a consecutive night. Dowd's unassisted tally was his second of the season and came at the 3:54 mark of the first.

Andrew Prochno put the Huskies up by a pair with his second goal of the season early in the second period. Ben Hanowski and Drew LeBlanc were credited with assists for SCSU on the goal.

St. Cloud State went up three before the end of the second period with a LeBlanc goal assisted by Prochno and Hanowski at 14:04.

Kalle Kossila finished the scoring for SCSU with a goal near the third period's midway point. Kossila's first collegiate goal was assisted by David Morley and Jonny Brodzinski.

The Huskies are back home this weekend for a series with Minnesota State-Mankato to kick off SCSU's final WCHA season.
