Pafko Leads Huskies to 2 Wins

It was the Alex Pafko show at Husky Stadium over the weekend as the sophomore forward scored two game winning goals leading the Saint Cloud State soccer team to a weekend sweep of NSIC opponents. The Blaine, Minn. native notched the game winning goal in the Huskies’ 2-1 victory over Southwest Minnesota State on Saturday then recorded the only goal of the game in a 1-0 upset victory over seventh ranked MSU-Mankato.
Pafko’s three goals on the season put her in a tie for the team lead with Chelsey Permenter. The Huskies are now 4-2-3 overall and remain undefeated in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference with a record of 3-0-1. SCSU is in action on October 2nd against MSU-Moorhead. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at Husky Stadium.
