Pezon WCHA Offensive Player of the Week

St. Cloud State forward Meaghan Pezon has been named the WCHA’s Offensive Player of the Week for her performance during last weekend’s games versus North Dakota. Pezon tallied six points on the weekend, including a four-point performance on Friday night where she scored two goals and added two assists in a 5-4 overtime loss. Pezon also helped SCSU earn the split with UND on Saturday afternoon when she had two assists in St. Cloud’s 3-2 victory.
In eight games this season, Pezon has scored three goals and five assists, and her eight points rank second on the team. Pezon and the Huskies take on the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs this weekend. The puck drops at 7:07 p.m. both Friday and Saturday at the National Hockey Center, and both games can be heard on KVSC.
