River Bats Headed to Playoffs

The St. Cloud River Bats have earned a berth in the Northwoods League post season with their second half performance, which has them finishing atop the North Division standings. The Bats won the second half of the season, narrowly edging out the expansion Willmar Stingers who struggled this weekend at Thunder Bay.
The Bats play the Rochester Honkers, the first half North Division winner starting on Tuesday from Mayo Field in Rochester. The series will then shift back to Joe Faber on Wednesday, and if needed, a game three will be played at Joe Faber Thursday. First pitch for all three games is slated for 7:05 p.m.
